Slaughterhouse Cleanup 7/25
The annual Slaughterhouse cleanup trip was a great success!
Several truck loads of trash from the shooting areas was removed. As well, a couple of damaged or removed signs were replaced and others that did not need replacing were re-painted. A Ford truck had been rolled and left in the mud pit area prior to the clean up trip. An officer from the local sheriff's office joined us for the day and greatly appreciated our efforts to right the vehicle and tow it to the road. He later send the club a letter showing his appreciation for us keeping the trail maintained and clean, and noted that it goes a long way to keep trails such as Slaughterhouse open to the public. The owner of the truck was found and ticketed.
Thanks to everyone that joined us this day! Your assistance and company was greatly appreciated! Hope to see you again at another club trip, or maybe a meeting!
